To publish your own Roku Channel you need to have a developer’s account on Roku application
1. Type your Roku account email address
2. Enter your password
3. Check this box so that the application remembers your credentials
4. Click here in case you forgot your password
5. Click here to sign in
6. Click here to create a new account
One you’re logged in the application, click on the Developer Site page
When the Developer Site page opens, you have to click on My Channels page in order to edit your channels
On My Channels page you can add a public or a private channel
There are some fields you need to fill in in order to create a new channel, and we will explain each of them in the following pictures
1. Select your Channel Store country where your channel will appear
2. Select the language for which you will supply channel description
3. Click on the drop down list and select the required features by the channel: USB, Roku game remote, Roku 2, Screensaver
4. Click here to select if there are any additional fees when using the channel
5. Click on the drop down list to select if the content is rated on the channel or not or if there are age restrictions
6. Insert your own vanity code which users will have to type when entering the Roku website in order to add this channel to their account
7. Click here to cancel adding a new channel
8. Click here to go to the next step where you will have to describe the channel
Here you will enter the description of the channel:
1. Insert a channel name
2. Enter a short description of the channel
3. Enter a more detailed description of the channel
4. Browse in your computer the HD poster of the application which is provided by our development team
5. Browse in your computer the SD poster of the application which is provided by our development team
6. Click on the drop down list to select a primary category in which your want to insert the channel
7. Click on the drop down list to select a secondary category in which your want to insert the channel
8. Click here to go back to the previous page
9. Click here to create the channel
After you have created the Channel, you can upload some screen-shots of your channel in action:
You will have to click on Go Back button to go to the step from where you can upload the Roku application package (the one that EyePartner development team provided to you)
1. Click here to select the Roku application package
2. Click here to upload the Roku application package
You will see the package added to the channel. You can edit the properties of the package, remove it or submit the channel for Publishing.
Your channel will be submitted for approval and it will be published on Roku; the time needed to publish a channel on Roku may take up to 12 hours
