Manage roku compatible videos

In this page we will detail the options that the broadcaster has to enable his videos from the TikiLIVE platform to be available on Roku.

The broadcaster will have to do the following steps in order to make the videos available on Roku:

4. You can also create a playlist and attach it to a channel that will play on Roku

1. Upload and encode video for Roku

Logged in as broadcaster you will have to go to My Videos and open the Monster Encoder application:

The Monster Encoder will open into a pop-up window:

1. Click here to browse for the movie that you want to upload

2. Enter here the title of the video

3. Enter here the description of the video

4. Click here to add the movie into the encoding list

5. Here you can view the video’s details

You will need to select to change the encoding settings and make the video Roku Ready:

1. Click Encode if you want to change the encoding settings

2. Click Directly Upload if you want to upload the video with the default settings

You will go to Encoding Options step:

1. Check the radio button according to the video quality you prefer

2. From this drop-down select YES to encode the video into Roku compatible format

3. Click here to apply the settings

You need to click on the following button to upload the videos:

1. Click here if you have more videos you want to upload

2. Click here if you don’t want to upload more videos

3. Click here if you want to remove the video you have just uploaded

When the uploading process will be finished you will be informed:

In My Videos page you can view which video is supported by Roku:

By clicking on a video you will edit it.

The Edit Video page will open and we have highlighted the Roku compatible fields:

1. Here you can view if the video is Roku compatible

2. Check this radio button if you want to make the video available on Roku

3. Check this radio button if you don’t want to make the video available on Roku

4. Click here to save the video details
